This mega program which was launched on Wednesday 13th Agust, was attended by an average number of 130 children and 80 Youth, 24 received Holy Ghost Baptism was culminated on Friday 15th August, 2025 by the the District Pastor George Owusu.
The program was in twofold; the morning session for the children ministry and the evening session for the youth ministry.
The following are the summary of the topics treated during both sessions :
Day 1 ( Wednesday)
The program was launched on the first day by Pastor George Owusu and He expounded on the topic ; unleashed to live a life worthy of your formative years. He emphasized that Jesus Christ grew holistically , be it physical, spiritual, mental and social. Luke 2:52, Ephesians 4:1, Ephesians 5:15-16.
He also gave some examples of young people in the Bible that lived right in public and in private spaces like Samuel,David and Mary.
During the morning sessions, There was a character study on Samuel and during the evening session, Mrs Vera Nsiah taught the youth ministry on career guidance, it’s importance and the several source we can get career guidance.
Day 2 ( Thursday)
Morning session ( Children ministry)
Deaconess Irene Nuamah Baffoe taught the children ministry how to excel in their academics and manage their time. Afterwards there was a character study on David .
During Holy Ghost session, 3 children were baptized in the Holy Ghost by God’s Grace.
Evening session ( youth ministry)
Elder Ebenezer Owusu educated us on the topic; ” The the Youth and social media”. He taught the youth about the positive and negative impacts of social media and how young Christians can manage themselves very well on the various social media platforms.
Pastor George Owusu also taught us on Sexual purity, elaborating on the need to stay chaste until marriage as young people, using Joseph and Mary as examples. Psalm 119:9, psalm 119:107, 2 Samuel 13, Genesis 24:16, 2 Timothy 2:20, Luke 1:30.
Day 3 Climax ( Friday)
Morning session ( Children’s ministry)
There was a discussion on the previous topics treated and afterwards a Prayer and Holy Ghost session was held and 19 children were baptized by the Holy Ghost.
Evening session ( Youth ministry)
Pastor George Owusu enlightened us on the topic; empowered by the Holy Spirit for the unleashing Agenda. He elaborated on the need to fast and the importance of tongue speaking, that when we fast and pray;
1. We draw closer to God
2. we honor God
3. we seek for direction
4. we ask for Divine protection and many more…. Matthew 8:16-18, Zachariah 7:5, Ezra 8:21-23, Isaiah 58:6-8.
Also when we speak in tongues, we edify ourselves and the Spirit intercedes for us” 1 Corinthians 14:2-4.
It was an amazing time waiting on the Lord and He truly visited us.
