As part of the 2025 Children’s Week celebration, the Old Tafo Area of The Church of Pentecost organized a Teen’s Graduation ceremony for 466 children transitioning from the Children’s Ministry to the Youth Ministry. The ceremony, held at Old Tafo Central Assembly, marked an important milestone in the spiritual journey of these young members.
The Head of the Old Tafo Area, Apostle Daniel Yeboah Nsaful, emphasized the significance of the transition process, urging the newly-minted youth members to build on the foundation laid in Sunday School and continue to learn and grow in the Youth Ministry.
He also stressed the importance of holding onto the principles of the church, which will guide them in their spiritual journey.
Additionally, he highlighted the responsibility of both parents and church leadership, especially youth leaders, to ensure that these new youth members remain in the church.
Avoidance Of Drug Abuse.
Apostle Daniel Yeboah Nsaful, also issued a passionate plea to Ghanaian youth to avoid drug abuse.
He emphasized that substance abuse can have devastating consequences on their lives, futures and overall well-being.
Apostle Nsaful’s call to action is particularly relevant given the growing concern over drug abuse among Ghana’s youth.
Apostle Nsaful added that the fight against drug abuse requires a collective effort from all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, community leaders and citizens.

Children’s Ministry Area Pastor’s Remarks
The Children’s Ministry Area Head, Pastor Kenneth Akomea, noted that the children had been well-prepared for their transition, with a strong focus on discipline, moral values, social life, and church principles.
He expressed confidence that they would continue to hold onto these values and be eager to learn more.
Area Youth Leader ‘s Remarks
On his part, The Area Youth Leader Pastor J.W.K Agbeko assured the church that the newly-minted youth members would remain under God’s umbrella.
He therefore, advised them to resist worldly influences and instead, allow God to guide them.
