At a press conference held to in Greater Accra, a group of drivers wives voiced their frustrations about how the current economic hardship has negatively impacted their marriages, particularly their husbands’ sexual performance.
The group attributed their husbands’ dwindling energy and lack of intimacy to the rising cost of living, including soaring fuel prices and the high cost of vehicle spare parts.
These, they say, have left their spouses overburdened, stressed, and unable to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Speaking to ODEHYE KWAKU ASIEDU,they lamented that, their husbands spend long hours working to make ends meet, only to bring home little,this has affected their health and even their ability to meet them in the bedroom,
The wives further stated that the situation is straining their marriages and overall family well-being.
They hinted that,the drivers convinced them to vote for the NPP because they believed things would improve. But instead, they are worse off.
They have decided to throw their support behind John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming election because the current government has let them down.
They appealed to Ghanaians to prioritize leadership that would address the country’s economic challenges, emphasizing the need for change to improve their lives and the livelihoods of their families.
Their plea comes amid growing discontent among citizens about the rising cost of living, with many calling for immediate policy changes to alleviate the economic burden.
