A popular Kumawood actress Ama Boahemaa aka Mama Kali has reiterated the reason for rejecting the NPP in her life. She attribute her decision to the greed levels of Matilda Asare also an actress.
Mama Kali who has severed relationship with Matilda Asare says ever since she was born into this world, she has never come across a greedy person like her.
According to her, in the days leading to the 2016 Presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana, Matilda Asare led them to go and campaign for the NPP in some parts of the country and after the elections and the subsequent victory, used the names of some of the actress and actors including her Mama Kali to go and collect an amount of Ghc3.1 billion from the NPP.
She explains that the moment Albino Matilda Asare collected the money, for several days she was out of coverage area only to surface later to give her Ghc2,000 cedis out of the whopping amount.
Mama Kali claims she could not believe someone that she considers as her younger sister could be greedy to this extent and so decided to leave the NPP and also sever relationship with her.
Mama Kali who has expressed shock about a video making rounds in which Albino Matilda Asare is heard making wild allegations about Alan Kyerematen believes she is making all those wild allegations because of money and that in the same way she did it in the past and got Ghc3.1billion in which she gave her Mama Kali Ghc 2,000 she thinks the same trick would work on the NPP if she decides to attack Alan and accuse him of working with the NDC.
Mama Kali has advised that she can be talking trash about all politicians but not that noble gentle, intelligent and competent man called Alan.
Mama Kali concludes by saying that she saw the walk in Kumasi and was massive and wondered where the albino lady was standing in Kumasi that she claims the walk did not go well.
Meanwhile the concerned market women of the race course has fired back at Matilda Asare that they will vote for their own. They have asked her where she was when her candidate Alhaji Bawumia was admonishing northerners and Muslims to vote for him because he was one of their own.
The market women has gone further to advise her to note that the days that they considered NPP as being part of their blood is long gone and that they will vote enbloc for Alan.
