Stop Deceiving Ghanaians With Your Election Prophecies, The True God Hasn’t Told You Anything – Rev. Hon. Appiah-Kubi

The Founder and Leader of New Heart Revival Church, and Executive member of Developmental Journalists Association, Rev. Hon. Simms Kwame Appiah-Kubi has warned Pastors and Prophets who are giving prophecies on the coming elections to spare the ears of the good people Ghana since that’s not what Ghanaians are yearning for.

Rev. Hon. Appiah -Kubi is of the view that, most of the Prophets are just doing that to catch the glimpse of the public which he thinks is unnecessary and also disgracing Christianity.

“Most of them are doing what I term as PRESUMPTUOUS PROPHECY ‘ which is just tearing our ear drums, and I want them to spare our ears and give us peace because those who doesn’t agree with our religion doesn’t do that, he stressed.

He also said, the rate at which the prophecies are coming from left and right without any basis is a disgrace to Christianity and therefore must be stopped because, your attitude is dividing God into two. He said this is not the time for Christians to give prophecies on elections but said, it’s time to win more souls for Christ because the devil is at work stealing and destroying our young ones who are supposed to live godly lives.

He quoted Deuteronomy Chapter 18 verses 21-22 to buttress his argument.
It reads Verse 21…”And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
Verse 22 …When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”

Rev. Hon. Appiah -Kubi finally admonished his colleagues senior ministers to note that, he believes in prophecy and give due respect to men and women of God, but it’s time to be vigilant because, Ghanaians are writing down all the prophecies they are giving and would remind them one day if it doesn’t come through.

“Ghanaians are watching, yes, they are following your prophecies, one day, your attitudes would judge you and tell people the type of person you are. He opined.

He has advised the public to be wary of those PRESUMPTUOUS prophecies from those prophets and concentrate vote for political parties who they think can help solve the problems in Ghana.

He advised the Ghanaian youth to desist from all sorts of violence that can plunge the country into war because we have no other country called Ghana that’s peaceful our the the Ghana we live now.
